Peace GEM Community,
We’ve been a little quiet lately—and with reason. GEM CULTURE is in a season of deep transition. Our board is smaller, our team more intimate, and some of our beloved DIAMONDS are taking time to pause and reflect.
As we refine our practices and prepare for expansion, we remain focused on what has always mattered most: quality over quantity.
This year is about alignment. We’re grounding ourselves in strategy, building capacity, and making room for what’s to come. Our GEMS deserve spaces that are safe, sacred, and free from outside noise—where they can truly know themselves and grow into the fullness of who they are.
We also recognize the power of meaningful relationships. The right people, partnerships, and environments help us serve at our highest level. That’s why our theme this year is: Know Thyself—and we welcome resources that support that journey, from therapy and transportation to internships, scholarships, spiritual tools, career guidance, and beyond.
To those who have ever supported GEM CULTURE—past and present—thank you. Your contributions have helped shape the clarity we now walk in. We are in the stretch before the expansion, and we honor every part of it.

GOALS FOR 2025:
This year our GEMS and DIAMONDS will participate in the following experiences in addition to exploring the theme and curriculum for 2025, “Know Thyself”:
- GEM GIRLS DAY Secret Location in Broward County, FL, April 26th, 2025
- A Seat at the GEM Table in Miami Gardens, FL May 17th, 2025
- Black Girls Dream Conference in Atlanta, GA June 6-7th, 2025
- Spring and Fall Semester GEM RETREAT in Atlanta, Ga June 5-10th, 2025 and in California December 11-16th, 2025
- Fall Crowning Ceremony Gala in South FL, November 23rd, 2025
Supporting GEM CULTURE means helping us to make these events possible while empowering girls who empower the world through the creation of safe spaces and access to mentorship during staple events and experiences such as the following events.

GEM CULTURE x GEM RETREAT x BLACK GIRLS DREAM CONFERENCE 2025
June 5-10th, 2025
For the third year in a row, GEM CULTURE will be attending the Black Girls Dream Conference hosted by The Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium this year in Atlanta, GA. This event will be taking place simultaneously during our annual Spring Semester GEM RETREAT where the girls will be diving deeper into this year's curriculum theme of “Know Thyself” while attending the conference, exploring the city and history of Atlanta and, most importantly, themselves.

10 Days of Connection: May 1-10th, 2025
10 Days of Connection powered by Radical Partners, exists to build bridges and weave diverse communities.
We invest in the transformative power of curated gatherings, large and small, to burst bubbles, foster trust, and dispel divisive beliefs that lead to conflict and other consequences. We call these Connection Experiences.
For 10 days each year (May 1 - May 10), 10 Days of Connection invite the entire community to work towards more connected, united and safer communities.
