GEM CULTURE is a nonprofit youth organization that empower girls who power the world.
We do this by providing teenage girls, ages 13-18, with safe spaces and mentorship in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
We offer three programs to execute our mission:
1. GEM SESSIONS -
for teenage girls, ages 13-18
2. GEM ALUMNI -
continuing support for our high school graduates - age 24
3. GEM LEADERSHIP TRIBE (New!) -
an internship opportunity for up to five (5) high school students to shadow GEM CULTURE's CEO, RIMIDI,
gaining insight of the ins and outs of running a business as well as leadership training
Our programming is designed to enhance their quality of life and to assist them in their transition into adulthood seamlessly, connecting them to resources, mentorship and improving the quality of their minds, thus, the quality of their lives.
We are currently fundraising to support our upcoming GEM RETREAT in Atlanta, Georgia for the Black Girls Dream Conference by The Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium as well as our upcoming 2024 Spring Crowning Ceremony! While in Atlanta, our GEMS and DIAMONDS will be connecting with other girls and women, of all ages, learning, discovering and connecting to resources and mentorship. Additionally, they will spend time at Asomdwee, a retreat space founded and led by Dr. Douglene Jackson, out in nature connecting deeply with themselves using healing modalties.
