Peace GEM Village & GEM Community,
Our GEMS and DIAMONDS are currently on summer vacation away from the culture with optional access to GEM MENTOR HOURS. The culture, however, is revitalizing and realigning itself through our upcoming GEM BOARD RETREAT for our GEM BOARD OF DIRECTORS and with our GEM MENTOR SYNERGY for our GEM MENTORS.
We will return ready in September for the second half of our 2024 programming year as we serve the GEMS, DIAMONDS & GEM LEADS of our GEM SESSIONS, GEM ALUMNI and GEM LEADERSHIP TRIBE Programs.
So far, this year has been full.
During the first half of our 2024 programming year, our GEMS and DIAMONDS have assisted in designing curriculums, hosted and led a public Connection Space in partnership with the 10 Days of Connections, deepened their connections with themselves and members of the culture during biweekly in person and online sessions, prepared for and showcased their talents for our recent Crowning Ceremony, fundraised $2,150.00 in less than a month together with their GEM Village and GEM Community and traveled to Atlanta, GA for their GEM RETREAT attending the Black Girls Dream Conference by the Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium and much needed time in nature with Dr. Douglene Jackson of G.I.F.T.S Institute at Asomdwee. Our GEM LEADS supported our CEG/Founder and Tribe #1 by consistently showing up for the call of duty that assisted greatly in manifesting our dreams into reality in exchange for community service hours.
We are absolutely grateful to everyone for the continued support, contributions and belief in our mission.
